The PERFECT camera!
The Canon PowerShot takes ultra-clear pictures and at warp speed. It even takes photos with a subtle depth of field i.e. you can focus on something in the foreground and the background will be slightly blurred. Its very similar to a 35mm, or the Digital Rebel (and cheaper!). The photos are amazing. I used to have a Sony and everything looked very flat. You can get some great artistic shots with this little gem....and the best part is that it comes in a variety of colors. I got mine for under $200!!! I love it :-)
Canon SD 1200IS - A great bargain
This is a very capable camera at the price, and is excellent for pictures on-the-go. In the past, I've owned the Canon SD 1000 and while I enjoyed the features it had, wished it included the image stabilization "IS" feature. The 1200 has IS, and it has made noticeable improvements on those quick shots. This digital camera elph takes wonderful pictures in a variety of light settings, and is incredibly easy to use. Overall, for the price, great camera and highly recommended.
Awesome Camera!
I've been using the Canon SD 1200IS over the past three weeks.I have to say this is one of my favorite Canon cameras ever. After using a Canon sd 200 for the last five years (Great Camera) this is a highly improved version. Its much faster i..e you can take more pictures in the same time and the auto feature works very well as does the red eye correction. The picture quality is wonderful and the image stabilization works like a charm. I recomend this camera to everybody looking for a great camera.
